Wimborne Chess Club was founded in 1977, and is based in the function room of The Olive Branch in Wimborne. With over 40 members, it is one of the largest and most active clubs in the Bournemouth and Dorset areas. The main club night is every Monday from 7pm until 11pm, with additional events on Thursdays, also from 7pm until 11pm. The club operates teams in both the Bournemouth & District, and the Dorset Leagues. New members of any strength are always welcome. A map showing the club’s location can be found here. |
