Charity Day: Saturday 26th November 2011
From 10am to 10pm at the Olive Branch. All proceeds to Naomi House
OFFICIAL OPENING 10.15am BY THE MAYOR OF WIMBORNE COUNCILLOR ROBIN COOK
Wimborne Chess Club supported by the Olive Branch is holding a fund raising day for this worthy local charity.
Naomi House and jacksplace are purpose built hospices providing support to children and young adults, from birth to the age of 25, who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.
The charity day will consist of a variety of fun and friendly activities including:-
- Simultaneous displays
- 10:30 Mike Waddington & Lewis (alternate moves)
- 14:30 Martin Simons
- Blitz displays
- Quickplay competition
- Solve mate puzzle for public participation
- Book stall
- Raffle
- Tombola
Everyone is welcome to attend, there will be continuous events for club players and the public alike.
