Wimborne Chess Club was founded in 1977 and is based in the first floor function room of the Olive Branch.
With over 50 members it is arguably the largest and most active club in the Bournemouth and Dorset regions.
The club's meeting nights are every Monday and Wednesday from 7pm until 11pm.
An informal chess coffee morning takes place downstairs every Thursday from 10am.
The club operates teams in both the Bournemouth & District, and the Dorset Leagues.
New members of any strength are always welcome.
Note that Juniors (under 16) must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
